The Avid BB-5 Road G2 mech disc brake is great for use with short-pull (STI/drop/canti) brake levers (sold separately). It offers the Tri-Align Caliper Positioning System (CPS) for caliper/rotor alignment. It also has the Monoblok 1-piece caliper with Ball-Bearing cam mechanism. Some other features include Barrel-style pad/cable-tension adjuster at housing stop, and Inboard pad adjuster knob and pad retraction for drag free setup.
