The difference is that this seatpost features 20-millimeters of setback to help riders fine-tune their bike fit. The EC90 utilizes full carbon fiber construction (including the upper and lower clamping plates). And, of course, this thing is plenty strong too. By incorporating RAD™ Relief-Area Design and TaperWall™ technology, the EC90 has been intelligently designed to distribute stress along the length of the post. We also remove material in critical clamp zones to prevent pinching the carbon (which can sacrifice durability).
