Kurt Kinetic....Kurt Manufacturing got its start in the cycling industry when it began manufacturing the trainer frames for a competitor. The competitor went bankrupt in 1999. Stuck with a great deal of inventory and tooling and armed with the knowledge about leaking resistance units, Kurt decided to apply its precision manufacturing expertise to build bike trainers. The result was a design so innovative it was awarded a patent for its leak proof fluid resistance unit.

Received the trainer after waiting a few days. They could not find my order, then it was shipped the next day. Trainer arrived in perfect condition. We purchased the trainer on sale and have not yet found another price even close to it. We set it up in the basement on a Giant bicycle mat and it works great with all three of our road bikes. Easy to switch bikes once you get the hang of it. Purchased a Kinetic riser ring (works much better than a 2 x 4), Good quality product and would definitely recommend it to friends. Don't know what the "Pet Approval" rating is all about, but had to rate it.

Great Buy, 9/15/2011

I bought this trainer a few months ago and love it! It was really easy to set up and rides very smooth. I was also expecting it to be quiet but its actually even more quiet then I thought. It's an all around great trainer and is the best that I've used. Definitely recommend it!
